    DESIGN OF TIMELINE CREATORS

Timeline creators are designed to help you lay out and visualize a sequence of events.
    •	 Unlike mind maps, they are linear in structure, placing events in time along one line
    •	 Some timeline tools support the use of images, as well as sharing and collaboration

•	 Teachnology Timeline Creator. Teachnology Timeline Creator is a simple timeline creator can be found  links
    at http://www.teach-nology.com/web_tools/materials/timeline/.

Using this site, a writer could begin to
name key moments in starting college, for
example (Figure IV.1.6). From these dates
and events, the site generates a timeline
like the one shown in Figure IV.1.7.

•	 Sutori. Sutori (https://www.sutori.com/)
    offers a multimedia timeline or story
    creation tool. It uses a vertical scroll and
    allows the inclusion of images. Figure IV.1.8
    shows the start of a HeLa cell timeline that
    a science team might make with this tool.

You can also add videos, audio, and text to        Figure IV.1.6. Events for a student starting college
the events on your timeline, as well as save
them and share them.
